Maui Hula Wahine began in September of 2010 in Lahaina, Maui. It was first started to teach children and adults the beauty and benefits of the Tahitian dance. As time went on, Hawaiian hula and lei making were added to educate the public. Maui Hula Wahine is dedicated to teaching Maui visitors more than what meets the eye when landing on this special island. Maui Hula Wahine's vision is for visitors to leave the island more knowledgeable about the Hawaiian hula, it's culture and it's people. Maui Hula Wahine will ensure that each cultural lesson is authentic and engaging for everyone of all ages.
